Last night we had an ice cream outing to celebrate: Bryce's 1/6 birthday, Sophie's 5 month birthday (which is actually today), and also Marci for sending us a coupon for Cold Stone. Hooray!As Bryce and I were inspecting our flavor options a woman stopped as she was walking by to tell us that it was hilarious to see Sophie looking so wide-eyed at the ice cream counter. We tried to re-capture the moment on camera, but Sophie suddenly found it more interesting to look at me than the ice cream. I guess I can deal with that. After much contemplation, meditation and hemming & hawing we finally went with German-chokolatekake and their seasonal Pumpkin Explosion (or something to that effect). I actually thought Bryce's pumpkin pick was better than my chocolate ice cream -- horrors! Sophie liked Bryce's ice cream, too. She wants anything we have these days -- especially if we put it in our mouths.
ps - you know you're addicted to blogging when: you take your camera to the ice cream parlor. Yikes! What have I turned into?!
