Ok, I don't have the videos uploaded yet, so maybe it will only be the funniest thing you've seen in the last 2 weeks, but just WAIT till we get those videos up. Guaranteed you will laugh for 10 minutes straight.
We made our way to the Rodeo this year and found ourselves drawn to a tent we'd never seen before... It's called "Walk on Water" and features human hamster balls that float in a shallow pool of water. Kids can climb inside and go crazy running, rolling, spinning, etc. without really going anywhere. They looked so awesome we couldn't help ourselves and shelled out the ridiculous number of clams required to stick Sophie inside one. She LOVED IT. And so did we. I think I laughed about the entire time she was in there. Someone should seriously consider turning these things into regular pool toys. Another added benefit = they completely wore her out! Anyone who knows Sophie knows this is hard to do. Like I said, these things are awesome!

Sophie would have happily stayed in her little hamster ball all day, but alas, they pulled her out after a good 10 minutes or so. We also hit up the petting zoo, milking demonstration, a rodeo puppet show,
mutton bustin', pig races, horse shows, etc. I love stuff like this. Makes me want to wear ccowboy boots and live in the country!

Sweet Grandma LaP sent the kids a butterfly garden as part of the Pump You Up for Reunion 2011 - thank you! We ordered the butterfly larvae and Sophie begged to check the mail each day until they arrived in our mailbox. It's astonishing how fast these guys grow. We pull them down from on top of the fridge at each mealtime for the kids to watch. According to the instructions, they should be spinning their cocoons any day now...!
