Well, folks, I do believe that Sophie may have just put herself to sleep... all by herself! No help from me. None. Oh, happy day. HAPPY DAY!!! I have to go check to make sure... yup. it's a true story. Laying on her side, right thumb in her mouth -- the usual position. Did I mention how incredibly HAPPY this moment is??? (insert happy sigh here.)Just a few pics today. The spotted giraffe with multi-colored feet on the left here (Lindsey refers to him as the dancing giraffe due to his amazing tap dancing skills) suffered a few injuries this afternoon during lunch. From her position in her bouncy chair, Sophie managed to land the poor guy right in the middle of the salsa on my plate. The girl has incredible aim. The dancing giraffe has incredible resiliency. You'd think he'd get tired of being yanked around and slobbered on all day long, but no. He just keeps on keepin' on. Long live the dancing giraffe!
I took these pics yesterday while Sophie was playing in her crib. We finally gave in and bought bumper pads. Actually I bought them about 4 weeks ago, but I was so outraged at the cost that I left them in the car for at least a week thinking I'd return them and get some cheaper ones. Turns out I HAD bought the cheap ones. Anyway, so I finally put them in her crib a little bit ago and it was just in the nick-o-time. Sophie is like a little baby bulldozer in her crib these days. It's pretty fun to watch her rock and roll all over the place. Maybe that will have to be the next video...
And last but most definitely not least here's a
pic from tonight -- Sophie helping mom make dinner. Talk about timing!! How can you not love this picture?!? I'm thinking it was the onions that were getting to her. :)
