5 things about Sophie

As if you didn't get enough updates of Sophie, here are 5 new things about her

1.) Today Sophie saw her first real snowstorm (all of 1" accumulated). We were going to join Mary and Steve for dinner, but as we were got to the end of our driveway and surveyed the road, we saw an accident right in front of our driveway, a car sliding off the road down the street, and another not able to climb the very mild incline across the street due to the 1/4 " of ice on the road, we reluctantly decided to stay home instead.

2.) Sophie's a pro at solids now - check out this week's video. That having been said, we're not quite ready to start feeding her in public as she still needs a change of clothes and a bath to recover. (This photo also shows her two bottom teeth pretty clearly)

3.) Sophie loves the staring game. Especially if she can bump foreheads in the process. Nothing makes her happier than playing this game with mom.

4.) She is cutting her THIRD tooth. If you click on the photo below, you might be able to see the new tooth. It's not out yet, but you can see it under her gums (the white is not the reflection of the flash -- you can also view the squash she had for lunch on her cheek).

5.) Sophie enjoys biting EVERYTHING now - and she's strong. Our new strategy is to bring her up as a child prodigy trapeze artist to supplement our income and allow us to afford living in the DC Metro area. Took a picture of the training regiment.

That's all for this update!

I am very impressed with the teeth - Peter still doesn't have one! He is the toothless wonder! :) You have a very cute girl - hopefully one day we can set up a fun playdate for all these....4th cousins? or whatever they are :) Laura
