I also realized tonight that I never posted pics of my latest pride and joy... what could I possibly have been thinking??! Goodness only knows. Anyway, so Bryce's good friend, D.J., planned a very cute surprise girls-night-out for his wife and Bryce got me in on the fun, as well. DJ sent us out to dinner and then to Color Me Mine to paint some pottery. I've seen these places before but never been inside. IT WAS SO FUN. We spent, I think it was something like 6 hours there painting to our hearts content. So allow me to introduce the latest addition to our kitchen...
A few other pics from this weekend... It was so nice to have Bryce around last week!! In fact, it was an AWESOME week and here's why:
- Monday = Family Home Evening with Bryce and the kiddies
- Tuesday = we went to an 80's night Roller Skating party. SO bodacious. And SO sad that I have no pics from this!!! Some of the outfits there were truly a sight to behold. How we ever thought that stuff was cool is beyond me, but I have to say that roller skating should definitely STILL be cool. It just so happens that I am a natural on roller skates (ok, not really, but I did take roller staking lessons back in the wonderful decade that was the 1980s and I am a WHOLE lot better on roller skates than I am on skis!!!)
- Wednesday = Failed attempt at skiing (see Bryce's post below), but we did spend the afternoon together at Marci's house
- Thursday = Skiing for real -- a whole afternoon with Bryce to myself!
- Friday = Date to the BYU Art Museum and dessert at Gloria's (VERY good)
Ok, must be off -- gotta go buy that camera...! Good night!

That second pic from the bottom cracks me up. He's already such a little ham.

one peace.
YEA!! PICTURES!
Sounds like a great week!
wow - your plate is awesome. When I went there I made a mug, and it doesn't look so nice. Nope, not at all.
Ah... the eighties... Come on, the purple reeboks with 2 pairs of socks (of different colors of course) with leggings were totally cool ;)
Lisa, that pie dish is amazing. I think you should only serve "invisible pie" in it as to not cover up your amazing art work!
Fun!
how nice and were you able to leave travis for that long??? Wow!
I am very impressed with the dish! I avoid those places because I have absolutely no vision and wouldn't know what to do with a blank dish staring at me. Sounds like such a fun week with Bryce around!
love that pie plate! Your kids are ADORABLE!
I love looking at a "The life and times of four little Laps!" It is one of my favorite blogs. Your pie dish reminds me how I used to paint on actual pie crusts with a pie underneath for birthdays of my friends and family. Sophie is too cute in her singing of the Cinderella song and Travis, let's just face it, is a Nathan clone! Come visit us and/or take a job in the Pacific Northwest!
I am excited for you to get your new camera! And your plate is Amazing! You should sell them!!!!
pie dish is to die for!!! can't wait to see pics from the new camera!!!
