Been a while...

It's been a while since I posted - like 5 months of a while.  While downloading some pics onto the computer tonight I thought I'd throw a few up here.  This has a high probability of taking waaaaayyyy longer than I want it to, but I love you so much that I will do it anyway.  Now THAT's love, right?

Here we go:

Brooke learned to sit up and crawl in the same week (this week).  Really, more like 3 days.  It's been crazy - one day she was a stationary baby and the next she was crawling across a room.  Time to (re)baby proof!
A few snapped this afternoon just b/c - they were watching Diego (of Dora the Explorer fame).  They're all a little obsessed with him right now.  I mean, what's not to love?!  He rescues animals and returns them to their families (travels the world in record time, I might add), has a rapping "rescue pack" and a singing camera!  Travis told me he had the best dream the other night -- he dreamed about Diego.  :)
Bridget loves the big D-man, too.
Green Lantern never stood a chance...
4 kids?!  Still amazes me sometimes.
We went to Sea World last weekend - it was fun & exhausting.  And very hot.

Sophie lost another tooth at Sea World!

Bryce's good friends Kyle and Tammy came to visit in February.  Had to snap some pics in Kyle, TX, of course.

 the Alamo

these crazies jumped out of an airplane for fun -- wearing Super Hero shirts, of course!
Getting ready to go up!

Bryce coming back down to earth...
With the tandem jump instructor and the plane that took them up
The kids love Kyle (and Tammy, too!)

Sophie and Bryce went to a Daddy Daughter Valentines Dance - it was ADORABLE.
such cute faces!
Sophie's valentine box for school - she named her Princess Susan :)
My Valentine's surprise was being serenaded by these two gentlemen -- Bryce and one of his priests.  They sang a couple songs and we (the kids and I) loved it!

January:

Sophie had her first piano recital -- she did great!

With her piano teacher

Happy homegirl

Going backward, here...  Christmas in CA.  Trying to get a family pic...
The cast (most of them) of the nativity play
My hubs, Caeser Augustus:

I love how excited he gets for my $1 finds  :)

Maybe the best thing Santa has ever delivered.  This helicopter gets a LOT of use at our house
Well, these 2-year-old accessories maybe rank up there, too

 Our annual picture -- 4's this year! (4, 14, 24, 34)
Brooke was in a stroller somewhere nearby... Pic taken at the Ritz Carlton - there was a massive gingerbread house - pretty nifty - kids loved it
 the whole crew (minus mom)

(November)  Who needs beds?!  Pack 'em in, peeps.

The benefits of working from home

There's a quick recap for anyone interested...  :)  See you in another few months!

So many great pics, Weesie. Thanks for satisfying my need to see the adorableness that is your family. :)

Tell Soph to call me and play me another piano piece & let me know if the tooth fairy visited her. Has Diego rescued Princess Susan yet? Bridget in pigtails tops the chart of cuteness. Bridge in her 2-yr-old accessories definitely belongs on a magazine cover. I hadn't seen pics of Bryce skydiving until now (did see the video). Crazy fella! Also never seen him looking so rugged as in his Valentines serenading pic. N and J would be proud. Love the baby-changing table pic of the kids. Instead of stack-the-states, they can play stack the kids! For the record, the 4s pic was taken w/o any prompting on my part. :-) Thanks for the nativity pics. Good memories. Love you tons!

Weesie! Awesome pcs! I can't believe it took me so long to check on your blog. I am SO SORRY. Next thing you know, I'll forget it's your half birthday in about 25 hours my time.

Love Soph losing so many teeth! And Bridget's hair is sooooo long. Brooke is so big- and chubby. Love it. And Travis' hair is so dark. Love all the pics from Christmas. I need copies of those!!

So happy to see a blog update. I have been thinking about you often and wondering when we can come up with an excuse to see each other soon!

Do you ever think to yourself...where have these 4 children come from? As I was looking through the photos I couldn't believe that you have 4 awesome kids and then I remembered that I do too. What is happening? Are we getting old or something?
