So this is Love

I don't like Valentines Day. I feel like corporate marketing departments have more say on what our expectations are for the day than our own personal relationships. Therefore, I have chosen to rebel.

Fortunately Lisa and I had dated long enough that by the time Valentines day rolled around in 2004, she knew where I stood. So I gave her a Bratz doll mirror and some other tacky gift just before I flew out to San Francisco to spend a weekend with some friends from Dartmouth (including 3 girls). She was still waiting for me when I got back - phew.

This year it was Lisa's turn. How can you not love someone who is:
1. This cute
2. Gives you a valentine like this?

Where do you even find that???

That's pretty cute. I don't like valentine's day either.. never have. But that's awesome - she definitely gets 10 points for that one! (apparently I'm keeping score?)
