My Mom Always Said to Eat the Rainbow

...and we just found a new way to do that!

I bring you COLORBURST CUPCAKES!I'd seen these here, but forgot about them till I saw them again on a friend's blog. Sophie and I have started doing our own little Mommy-Sophie preschool and these cupcakes were the perfect project for yesterday when "C" was the letter of the day.

It was really fun to do and the kids thought they were the coolest things ever. Crazy-colored cupcakes were a GREAT reason to eat all their dinner. :)

My little helper

ps - these two pictures are to show Marci that I round-brushed Sophie's hair yesterday. It looked SOOOO cute. And it lasted... for all of about 14 minutes. Please advise!!!

Throughout your whole post I was thinking how cute Sophie's hair looked so you might not think it lasted but I still think it looked cute (unless all of these were taken within 14 minutes of round brushing her hair).

I love Sophie's shirt. Do they have it in adult size?! So cute. Your kids are so adorable.

ditto lisa! I noticed the shirt too!
And I will tell you the secret to her hair....she's part LaPierre and she got that bad LaPierre gene...no matter WHAT you do to your hair, within the exact 14 minutes, it's flat....she would have fared better with the nice Moorhead hair!
and is this in your new house?!?! Please tell! It looks great, but I thought you guys would still be in a hotel or something for a while!?

Love the cupcakes and I love the website you got them from...Our Best Bites...I made one of their soups for dinner last night as well as their chocolate zuchini bread. So good! Anyway, the cupcakes are adorable and so is Sophie's hair. Love it. Love you too. I'm dying to see pics of your house.

I've been trying to figure out who I could make these fun cakes with/for. I'll keep thinking. Ditto on the hair AND the SHIRT!
Oh - and yes, if you remember, the LaPierre's have curly hair (Uncle Bruce, case in point). It's the Muzzy's that have hair that even perms mess up!

Alas, still no g/c to make it for/with - BUT - Jamie's home tonight for a few days!!! AHA!

Hi Leese,

That's a twist on eating the rainbow that Lindsey would really appreciate. Maybe we'll have gummy bears tonight!
