I think we just had a telltale sign that Sophie is growing up. Here's the story (as told to me by Lisa):
Sophie caught conjunctivitis from Travis. Whenever there is discharge in her eyes, we need to give her medicine from an eye dropper. However, Sophie hates, no - HATES this medicine. She tried everything she could to make it difficult to give her the medicine, squeezing her eyes shut, shaking her head, running away, swatting the bottle away. None of those worked.
So she hid the medicine - yes, that's right. My two year old took the bottle of medicine and hid it in the microwave. (Un)fortunately, we found it and resumed the treatment. I'm starting to think she just might be responsible for the missing measuring cup and tablespoon.

Maybe she took my debit card. . . Looks like you guys have been busy with fun and sick kids. I have to be better about checking your blog since you're always up to something interesting! Your kids are dolls. Sophie is so gorgeous and Travis is darling, as all baby boys should be.
Aunt Laree is missing her homework folder. Hmmm! And we were just thinking it was Lucky!
I love how smart she is. "Fun times", to quote one of our infamous children.
Trav, where are the running shoes? I love that he just let Bryce be....
Clever, clever girl :) I have recently discovered that Shayden doesn't like her vitamin C's anymore and has started hiding them all over the house! I have found them under the microwave, behind the piano, behind some books on the book shelf, in the bottom of her closet, and those are just the ones I have found!
These sneaky girls must get it from their dads :)
This is funny... This semester at the hospital I have been working on the PEDS floor. Pretty much all I saw all winter was poor little RSV babies like Travis. It is miserable stuff. But the funny thing is that I got conjunctivitis part way through the semester and didn't know what it was from. Then I figured out that when we suctioned the little RSV babies, I got coughed on right in my eyes as I would try to hold them down and calm them. (They really didn't like the yellow gown and mask I wore either- it scared them.) Anyway, so I went to the DR and he gave me erythromycin for my eyes in drops probably much like Sophie had, and when you put them in, they run down your throat and taste AWFUL!! I HATED them! So I can't imagine she really enjoyed them either. Smart girl to hide them!
hehe...that's pretty good! what would she have against the measuring cup!??! ;)
