Do you ever feel like you're busy all day long, but at the end of the day nothing is done?? Life seems to be pulling in about 12 different directions every five minutes these days. For example, right now, I should really be cleaning the bathroom, soaking yellow-eye beans and wrapping a baby gift.... but some things are more important... like posting pics from Cris and Bryce's big birthday bash last weekend!! We had a fabulous time ringing in their third decade of life with our running/twin-themed birthday party. I could go on and on, but the pics will have to do the majority of talking for me. Here goes... (warning: there's a LOT of pics!)This party was a lot of fun to plan - and thanks to my wonderful in-laws, party-goers got to enjoy a Special Edition 30-Years of Bryce and Cris Cookbook, cool racing bib numbers and all kinds of awesome themed prizes! This is a board I put together with stories of B & C from their younger years, and pics of the dynamic duo. Can you guess who's who?
Since it was a "twin" party, Cris came dressed as Bryce and Bryce dressed up as Cris. Sooo, knowing that, who is this stud pictured below...?

Some of the party treats - had to have Spice Drops. They are an essential part of any occasion where we celebrate Bryce. :) And how could I resist DoubleMint gum?? Come on and double it!
A very large part of the party was the "30 Year Invitational" run. We had four heats and each winner got to take home their very own "C & B 30 Year Invitational" t-shirt!!! Talk about serious motivation to run FAST!!!Here's my favorite pic from our first heat.

Lisa, you are an absolute amazing party planner! We wish we could have been there, the party looks like it would have been worth the trip. Isn't it funny how they can totally dress like each other and ACT like eachother, too. Crazy! nope, can never get a real picture of them together. Bryc will have a hard time topping this for YOUR birthday (30th?!?!)!!

I just want to mention there was nothing illegal about that start. Bryce is just out of practice I guess. However, if you notice on the get set pose, he's getting ready to throw a pretty nasty elbow himself!
