Swetsville Zoo

I forgot to post these pics after we visited the Swetsville Zoo, so thought I'd throw them up now in an attempt at catching up. Fort Collins has its very own, very unique zoo called the Swetsville Zoo. The place is chock full of "animals" and other creatures all made by the same man from car parts, farm machinery and scrap metal. The place is hilarious. We checked it out one afternoon after picking up Bryce from work and had a great time meeting all of dinosaurs, etc.

Sophie got really into "posing" after the pic with the band. We didn't catch it on film, but she was holding up her leg like I am in this pic and everything... you'll just have to take my word that it was supa funny. :)Now after seeing what amazing things there are so check out up here in the Front Range area of Colorado, how can you NOT want to visit?!?! :)

And ps - Speaking of things to do here, I also have to give a woot-woot for the Greeley Stampede! Bryce and I were able to go to the Josh Turner concert there and had a fabulous time! I completely adore Josh Turner (and Bryce thinks he's completely cool) and though we weren't able to make it to any rodeo events, it still gets a BIG thumbs up from me. Also, Bryce had this INCREDIBLE brisket sandwich there. Let's hear it for fair food!!!!
