First off, the trip to Cali! ...which I have no pictures of. What a way to start a photo journal post! Well, it was a marvy time with the fam and CA of course lived up to its reputation of paradisaical weather. I have been missing the pool down the street from my parent's house since stepping onto the plane that took me away from SoCal. Crossing my fingers for water aerobics in UT. What a dream that would be.
Next up, Lesley & Trevor's wedding! It was a BLAST. Most of you reading this already know that. But it was SO. FUN. Now for the pics! (courtesy of Marci, of course):
awww, how cute are we? This was taken just after the sealing.
I love this pic - all the bride's sibs and their spouses in a dramatic pose...
How about we recreate this one at Lindsey's wedding, Marse?? ;)

This one also cracks me up - Trevor 's got his bride-face on
One of the twins... (Adge, is this Abby or Savvy? I can't see the freckle!)
Marci and her candid moments...
This is how a very large number spent every spare second of the wedding festivities
Emma and Aunt Roz follow Harry on his pursuit of You-Know-Who
Lisa, Mary, Steve, Luke & Bryce
Now we have to back up a bit - but just a bit. One day to be precise. The day before the wedding there was a Basketball Tournament for everyone who wanted to participate. Bryce used his mustache (which he'd been growing out to show me and Steve B.) to intimidate, frighten and distract those he played against. Here's my sweetheart in all his mustached glory...
Bryce in action!
Jump baby, jump!
Sophie and I cheering for Bryce - go Big B!
Nath's just happy to be here...

...and so is Lindsey.
...and so is Sophie.
Jacob won the free throw contest and was awarded these
gnarly glasses and nerf gun for his studliness. :)
Bryce and the girls
This is from the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding - it was a luau and was way fun. Of course, all Sam and Sophie wanted to do all night was look out the window at the cars. :)
Some of the cousins having a great ole time at the luau dinner - man, that food was GOOD.
This is, perhaps, the funniest picture of ALL TIME. We were teaching some of the B's about "mad faces" and long story short, we ended up playing an intense game of Catch Phrase. The losing team had to pose for a picture showcasing their best mad face. So here we are! I have to say that I think my fave faces are my mom's and Adge's...!

Now for the more recent stuff...How about we recreate this one at Lindsey's wedding, Marse?? ;)

I have to say that I think my fave faces are my mom's and Adge's...!Boxes are now occupying space in every room and Sophie loves it since it's become an indoor jungle gym for her. Did I mention that she likes to climb? On everything? It's funny and surprising how strong she is (esp when she rappels the side of her Pack-n-Play), but when I'm not right there to catch her if she falls it is decidedly less funny. Anyway, I'll have to take pics of all the boxes later, but here are a couple from earlier this week....
With her blueberry pancake which she managed to smash on her nose... Such a clever girl, no?
I bought this little baby doll for Sophie for the long plane ride to CA and she looooooves it. It is so so cute how much she loves this little doll. We looked over at her the other day and she was sitting on the kitchen floor hugging it and patting it and just playing with it. SOOOO cute! By the time I got the camera she'd already seen me, so these aren't candid, but still adorable.
And now folkies, I have to say that I am tired. Quite tired. Blogging worked! Ok, off to hit the sack. Enjoy this incredibly long post and I'll see you all the next time I can't sleep... Ta-ta for now!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the update and pics! Isn't insomnia the best! BTW, there is water aerobics at the Provo Rec., I actually went once in Provo. I "worked out" with the older folks! Also btw, you look great and I love little Sophie!
last time we were students at BYU, they offered TONS of aerobics classes and one was water aerobics. it was cheap and i'm pretty sure student spouse's can sign up. and of course 24 hour fitness.
