Got Spinach?

We've been converted to the green smoothie way of life! All this time I thought I needed one of those super cool (and SUPER expensive) blenders to do this and it turns out... my trusty Bosch blender will do the trick! It gives me satisfaction I've not known till now to see Travis willingly drink spinach! Behold for yourselves:
So much has happened since I last posted... I won't attempt to cover it all, but as I was downloading pictures tonight from the last 8 or 9 weeks, I couldn't help posting some of the latest goings-on... here's a few highlights in a photo essay:

Bridget (dare I call her Miss Blue Eyes???) started solidsThese two adore each other = SO cute

Travis has been trying to pass on his absolute LOVE of all things ball-related to baby sisterand we think Bridget has a serious future in yoga...
I received the sweetest, most thoughtful package from my mother & sisters-in-law (thank you!!!). It made me cry... which Bryce then attempted to capture on film. A few of you have asked about the paint color in the dining room -- the one I debated about FOREVER... remember that one? Here's a pic of what we went with. It's not the greatest pic, but if I wait till I find the better one I took... it might be another 6 months till you see it... :)
Mother's Day!!
Sophie and Travis (and Bryce) made me chocolate-covered strawberries. DIVINE!
where did these 3 kids come from???Bridget has been sporting Hannah Montana's hair piece...work it, girl!

Bryce has been working on the super-dee-duper fantastic-o built-in desk that I am sooooo honking excited about!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This project deserves (and probably will get) it's own blog post,
but for now, here's a pic from the night he hung the first shelf...
and here's what it looks like now...
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! So excited about it!!
(ps - it looks a bit angled on the left there in this pic, but never fear, readers... in real life it is 100% level. You don't actually think Bryce could sleep at night if it weren't level, do you? One of the things I love about him.)

NATHAN CAME FOR A VISIT!!!!!
We ate Mexican food...
went to check out the glass-bottom boats (super cool, by the way!)LOTS of wrestling - uncles are so awesome for that!we had a taste-testing contest with Blue Bellwe had FHE in the tent and learned about King Benjamin
Nathan as King Benjamin
Lots of this... "Who can open their eyes the BIGGEST??""Who can open their mouth the biggest??"
"Who can give me the biggest smile???"
Hilarious.
Nath got to snuggle little Raz (who blows raspberries allllll day long)
We took Nath to experience Rudy's - he liked it!
And amazingly, I even took a pic of Bryce and me!!
AND, we found this at Rudy's! Mike and Melissa ... and Nathan's foot. :)
We were sad when he had to go, but SO happy that he came!
(ps - Nathan, Travis has asked for you at least 57 times since you left)

Perhaps the most anticipated event of the last 2 (3?) months was May 27 = the last day of seminary!!!! Sophie desperately wanted to go with me, so I obliged. She was the cutest little student - even brought her baby doll which she propped up in the chair next to her. If I get around to it, I have a post that I could dedicate to seminary, too... maybe another day.
some of my seminary cheering section
That about wraps up the last several weeks. I am SO happy that summer is here!!! It's only been a week and I. Am. LOVING. It!!! Happy summer to everyone!

1) Bridge the Squidge def looks like she got blue eyes!
2)The Hannah Montana hair piece is cracking me up.
3)The built-in-desk looks fab!
4)I can't tell if the kids or Nana had more fun.
5)King Benjamin looks suspiciously like Prince Charming.
6)I'm not sure what Nath's foot is hiding, but the Mike and Melissa tribute is aws. :)

I just have to say I CAN NOT BELIEVE YOU GOT CALLED AS A SEMINARY TEACHER. THAT IS PURE CRAZINESS! AND YES, THE CAPS ARE ME YELLING ALL OF THIS!!!!! I just got released as a young woman's ADVISOR to give me an easier calling since I now have a newborn, equaling TWO kids. You are SUPERWOMAN. And I declare that from this point forward you get to choose whatever calling you want, you deserve that much:) Gutsy bishop you have there in TX, everything's bigger!

Yo Weese. FINALLY a post! HOoray! Trav and Soph look way too big. Matt's going to die over that bookshelf. Die of envy that is. Love Bridgey's hairpiece - she definitely looks like a blue eyed babe to me. I've never seen anyone come close to Nate in the open their mouth the biggest competition... but I think Soph wins.

And last of all...

I WANT BLUE BELL ICE CREAM!

How is it that you young marrieds seem to accomplish so much in contrast to we boomers who are eventually looking at retirement? I am seriously coveting the built in desk and a husband who can create such an awesome object. Sorry, I know I am sinning in my wish! :)
