We made our way to the Rodeo this year and found ourselves drawn to a tent we'd never seen before... It's called "Walk on Water" and features human hamster balls that float in a shallow pool of water. Kids can climb inside and go crazy running, rolling, spinning, etc. without really going anywhere. They looked so awesome we couldn't help ourselves and shelled out the ridiculous number of clams required to stick Sophie inside one. She LOVED IT. And so did we. I think I laughed about the entire time she was in there. Someone should seriously consider turning these things into regular pool toys. Another added benefit = they completely wore her out! Anyone who knows Sophie knows this is hard to do. Like I said, these things are awesome!

looks a bit out of it here, but it's the best one I got of her looking at the camera...
Sophie would have happily stayed in her little hamster ball all day, but alas, they pulled her out after a good 10 minutes or so. We also hit up the petting zoo, milking demonstration, a rodeo puppet show, mutton bustin', pig races, horse shows, etc. I love stuff like this. Makes me want to wear ccowboy boots and live in the country!
