So, I should be packing, but of course I'm not... Instead, here I sit on the floor of our apartment blogging. On the floor b/c we have not a lick of furniture in the place. Well, ok, maybe a small lick. Sophie still has her toddler bed and we still have the $10 cat-scratched recliner we bought off craigstlist. But other than that... it's pretty empty around here. Three more days till we load up the moving van and head out!Anyway, so I've come up with a list of Great Things About Having No Furniture and here they are. Ahem...
Number 1 - Vacuuming sure is easier when there's nothing around which you must navigate!
Number 2 - One need not raise their voice to be heard at the far end of the house since everything echoes off the walls of these empty rooms! What a time saver to not have to repeat myself!
Number 3 - More wide open space makes for GREAT areas to practice your Olympic gymnastic floor routine - both mens and womens. And toddlers. Especially toddlers.
Ok, back to packing now. Kitchen, you're next!
ps - here's a link to my current favorite Sesame Street video clip (we discovered this on the Sesame Street web site - truly a gem). This is just my kind of humor, people. Seriously, I die laughing everytime they get to the "chickens just back from the shore" part. Hilarious!!!

Where are you moving too? Good luck packing the kitchen it's always the hardest I think!
I have the same question as above! We have now been in the house we actually own for four months now and it has been a lot of fun to paint walls any dang color I want and see the furniture we picked out ourselves be delivered. And tonight we staked out in our yard just where we want a fence to go. It is SO great not to be renting anymore and knowing that in 12 months we don't have to pack up and go somewhere else. Dang we are lucky!
So let us know where you going?
Can't wait to have you back in Provo. One of the benefits of an empty house is the echo. Clara loved it!
So... it's late. I'm exhausted beyond belief and trying to prep myself mentally for our adventure with Sam's esophogram tomorrow... but what do I do instead of going to bed? Watch your chickens back from the shore clip. Hilarious. That was my favorite part too...
Wait a second, where are you going now? Didn't you just move there? It's a sad day when you get so good at moving. Good luck with more packing!
Just as long as there's no baby gymnastics going on. That's just wrong. That's a great tip on the Sesame Street clips online. Good luck moving, again! Which is harder - 9 months pregnant or with a 2 month old?
I like the gymanastics vid. I can't believe how much well she's talking. Very cute. (I usually can't see vids on our comp)
